England v India – IT20: Edgbaston will host a mouth-watering Vitality IT20 fixture between England and India on Saturday 9 July 2022.
Following discussions with the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), Edgbaston has agreed to step in and host the rearranged fifth LV= Insurance men’s Test match, which was originally scheduled to be played in September 2021, due to the unavailability of the original venue.
As a result, the need to accommodate the India Test Match has had a knock-on effect on Edgbaston’s schedule and the scheduled ODI between England and India at Edgbaston on Saturday 9 July will now be played as an IT20, start time to be confirmed.
All ticket buyers for the originally scheduled ODI have been contacted via email regarding their tickets. If you are a ticket holder then you can read our FAQs here.
